How text messaging works on the Dealer Scheduling platform, and how dealers consent to receive it.
Dealer Scheduling is a workforce-scheduling platform used by casino-party entertainment companies to staff their events. On behalf of those companies, we send transactional scheduling text messages to the companies' own dealers and staff โ for example, booking confirmations, game or role assignments, event time changes, cancellations, and shift reminders. This is not marketing; messages relate only to a dealer's own work assignments.
Only dealers and staff members of a company that uses Dealer Scheduling receive texts, and only about parties they are being scheduled for. Guests and the general public are never texted.
A dealer provides their mobile phone number and gives consent to receive scheduling text messages in one of these ways:
By choosing Text or Both, the dealer agrees to receive scheduling text messages from their company via Dealer Scheduling. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
At the point of opt-in โ when a dealer enters their mobile number and chooses their notification method in the Dealer Portal โ this is the exact form and on-screen consent disclosure they see, including the required consent checkbox, before they can save:
We need a way to reach you about confirmed parties and schedule changes. Please add your email and phone number โ both are required.
The consent checkbox is required and unchecked by default; a dealer must actively check it to receive texts.
Message frequency varies and depends on a dealer's scheduling activity (for example, when they are booked, confirmed, or an event detail changes).
Message and data rates may apply. Dealer Scheduling does not charge dealers for text messages; standard carrier rates may apply.
A dealer can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by switching their notification method away from Text in the Dealer Portal. After replying STOP, they will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. For help, reply HELP to any message or email support@dealerscheduling.com.
Mobile numbers are used only to deliver these scheduling messages and are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
